# Grace Dieu Priory
**Type:** Walk | **Location:** Thringstone, Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom
**Murphy & Me Rating:** 3.8/5 (space, sniff factor, facilities, ease)
## About
This is a lovely woodland spot with a gorgeous stream (which Murphy loved) and stunning bluebells at this time of year. We managed to walk under the Viaduct, but didn't quite make it to the ruins 😅

The reality…

Murphy + new environment + teenagers = chaos 🤪

The kids were off exploring and Murphy was desperate to join in, so I spent most of the walk saying "WAIT" on repeat 🙃🐾

We turned right into the woods (the wrong way for the Priory 🤦🏼‍♀️) which had narrower paths and lots more people, which didn't help.

The good bits:

- Beautiful woodland 🌿
- Plenty of stream access 💦
- Bluebells everywhere 🪻
- Grace Dieu Viaduct — a scenic old railway bridge 🌉
- Plenty of parking 🚙

We'll definitely be back (the right way next time!) and will include a stop at The Bulls Head Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery 🍻🐾
