If your dog is reactive, a full car park can feel like a threat before you've even started the walk. But we've learned that busy car parks don't always mean busy paths — and woodland, in particular, tends to spread people out in a way that open parks just don't. These are the Leicestershire (and just over the border) woods we keep coming back to when Murphy needs space to actually relax and sniff, rather than scan every horizon for incoming dogs.
