## About
Beacon Hill Kitchen & Deli sits right by the play area and lower car park at Beacon Hill Country Park, and it turns out that's prime real estate if you're a dog who likes an audience. We sat outside, which was lovely right up until Murphy clocked how many other dogs were also sitting outside. Cue a solid ten minutes of desperate whining and staring at every table that wasn't ours.

His focus reconvened the second the doggy sausage turned up. Properly reconvened — like someone had flicked a switch. He demolished it, then moved onto a puppachino with treats on top, which Murphy thought was a real bonus. 

On the human side the flapjacks were delicious there's takeaway available, plenty of gluten free options, and sandwiches that looked great. The kitchen closes half an hour before the café itself — worth knowing if you're cutting it fine after a walk. There's a water bowl out front, and Pooch's treats are sold in bags by the till if you want to take some home. Murphy came away with his usual cream beard, which at this point is basically part of his work uniform.
