After what feels like a lifetime of recovery, sleepless nights and sympathy cuddles… Murphy is FINALLY back out on adventures again 🎉🐾

This morning we visited Albert Village Lake and honestly, it was absolutely stunning 🌿☀️

We went early to beat the heat and it was perfect for a warmer walk and any other season actually:
🐾 Wide flat paths
🐾 Easy terrain
🐾 Dotted shaded spots along the route
🐾 Plenty of splash opportunities
🐾 Free parking (worth noting the only poo bin we spotted was near the entrance)

The lake loop was just under 2 miles and took around an hour at Murphy's pace (including approximately 47 snack/sniff/splash stops 🤣) but there were loads of other routes you could extend onto, including Conkers.

Murphy took FULL advantage of every water opportunity 💦😂 He also attempted to make friends with a swan… who unfortunately did not share the same vision for the friendship and just hissed at him instead 🦢🤣

We stopped off at The Pavilion on the way home for a little refuel ☀️🍺🍰 A beverage and slice of Biscoff cake on the deck in the sunshine (parasol up for pup) was the perfect finish while Murphy enjoyed a puppachino, gravy bones and a rabbit chew. We all LOVE this stop off 😎

It was such a lovely morning and exactly the gentle little adventure Murphy needed 💛🐾
