Murphy had The Full Hound today — sausage, bacon and scrambled egg — and I'm not sure he's ever felt more seen as a customer 😂

The Stables sits in a beautiful courtyard at Staunton Harold, surrounded by independent shops (ceramics, jewellery, art, furniture, lighting, deli) and has that relaxed, genuinely welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned.

There's a proper dog menu, puppachinos that Murphy took very seriously, and water bowls dotted around the outdoor seating area. Plenty of other dogs around too, which is always a good sign.

We had milkshakes (the mango sorbet with coconut milk tastes like a healthy holiday cocktail ☀️) and lemon sponge, all lovely. Service was great — friendly without being over the top.

Afterwards we wandered the Staunton Harold grounds which are absolutely stunning. Wide open views, peaceful walks, and we even spotted lambs relaxing in the shade 🐑

Perfect combo for a sunny day out.
