## About
After our quick explore of New Lount Nature Reserve, we stopped off at The Ferrers Arms on the way home for a little refuel ☀️🐕

First impressions? Lots of dogs. And as fellow dog people know, that’s usually a very good sign 😆🐾

We chose a table outside so Murphy had plenty of space to relax, sniff and generally supervise the entire pub garden. While we enjoyed a well-earned drink, Murphy entertained himself with a few rounds of “find it” using treats hidden in the grass. It kept him happily occupied and gave us a chance to properly soak up the atmosphere 🌿👃

One thing that immediately stood out was the dedicated dog water station. With bowls available and an outdoor tap for easy refills, it felt like dogs had been genuinely considered rather than simply tolerated. It’s a small touch, but one we’d love to see more venues adopt.

The outdoor area offers plenty of room for dogs to settle comfortably, and throughout our visit there was a steady stream of other dog-friendly visitors coming and going. Combined with the large car park and easy access from nearby walks, it makes an ideal stop-off after an adventure with your dog.

We didn’t spot any complimentary dog treats and we’re not sure whether puppachinos are available, but the water station alone was a really thoughtful touch and helped create a genuinely dog-friendly feel.

Overall, a lovely stop-off after a walk and somewhere we’d happily visit again with Murphy 🐶
