## About
☕🐾 The Bark Bistro – Newhall Valley, Sutton Coldfield

🐾 Fresh coffee, homemade food and a menu designed just as much for dogs as it is for humans. If your dog judges cafés by the quality of the puppuchinos, Poppy has already given this one her seal of approval. 💚

Nestled on the edge of Newhall Valley Country Park, The Bark Bistro is the perfect place to stop before or after a walk. 🚶‍♀️🌳 On this occasion, it was a solo trip for Poppy, whose sole mission was to sample the puppuchinos... and I'm pleased to report she took her job very seriously. ☕🐶

The human menu has plenty to choose from, including freshly made bagels, paninis, salads, coffee and delicious sweet treats like brownies and muffins. 🥯🥗🧁 But let's be honest... if you've arrived with a dog, their eyes will be firmly fixed on the pup menu. 🐾

Dogs can choose from sausages, ice cream and, of course, puppuchinos, which Poppy would like me to point out are "worth the journey on their own." 😂☕🐶

The bistro sits on the same site as a dog groomers and doggy day care, making it a lovely little hub for dog lovers. 🐕✂️ Because of this, we'd actually recommend parking in the Newhall Valley Country Park car park, just a little further up the road. 🅿️ It's only a short walk back to the café, there's more parking available, and you'll avoid the rather steep hill when leaving the bistro's own car park. 🚗⛰️

Outside there are around seven or eight picnic benches, all nicely spaced apart so you never feel like you're sitting on top of the next table. 🪑🌳 Some of the seating is shaded too, making it a lovely place to sit on warmer days. ☀️🌿

The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and it's clear they're genuine dog lovers. ❤️🐾 We also love following them on Facebook, where they're always sharing what homemade treats and specials are available each week... although it does make choosing what to have even harder! 🤤

One of the best things about The Bark Bistro is that it's open seven days a week, so whenever you fancy a coffee and your dog fancies a puppuchino, you know it's there waiting. ☕🐾

We'd definitely recommend combining your visit with a walk around Newhall Valley Country Park afterwards to help burn off all those extra treats... and don't worry, we'll be reviewing that walk very soon! 🌳🚶‍♀️🐶

If you're looking for somewhere that's genuinely dog friendly rather than simply dog tolerant, The Bark Bistro is well worth a visit. 💚🐾

## Murphy's Verdict
*Reviewed by Murphy, Cavapoo and chief sniff tester at Murphy & Me — The Dog Edit*
> "My friends have sampled quite a few puppuchinos in their time, and they confidently say this was one of the best they've ever had! 😋☕🐾 They would happily come back every day... although their Mum keeps insisting they need to 'walk it off' afterwards. Rude. 💚"
