Murphy is a Cavapoo. He has strong feelings about puddles, swans, and whether a café's dog biscuit was worth the detour. His mum Candice writes everything up. We started in Leicestershire. Now we want to go further.
The listings that land best aren't polished — they're specific. The ones that say "the car park floods in January, park on the road" or "ask for the dog menu, it's not on the board." That's what people actually need. That's what we want more of.

Not as much as it sounds. And exactly as much as you want it to.
Walks, pubs, cafés, dog-friendly spots. You're probably already doing this. We just want you to write it up honestly — the good stuff and the stuff worth knowing before you go.
A listing or two a month is plenty. No targets, no deadlines, no spreadsheets. This isn't a second job — it's an excuse to explore with your dog and tell people about it.
The local knowledge is the whole point. Which trail gets boggy. Where the good swimming is. Which café actually means it when they put a water bowl outside. That's what dog owners need.
Writing isn't the bar. Noticing things is.

Beyond that, we're looking for local knowledge in the areas below. And "area" doesn't mean the whole county — it could be your town, your village, or just the few square miles you actually walk. Someone who really knows Oakham is more useful to us than someone vaguely covering all of Rutland.
