Who we are
Murphy & Me (The Dog Edit) is a dog-friendly location guide covering the Midlands, run by Greg and Candice — and Murphy the Cavapoo, obviously.
If you have any questions about how we handle your data, email us at hello@murphyandme.co.uk.
What data we collect
We only collect data you choose to give us, plus basic analytics on how people use the site.
- Newsletter signup — your email address, collected when you subscribe to The Murphy Memo.
- Submit a listing — your name, email, dog's name, location details and any photos you upload.
- Analytics — anonymous usage data via Google Analytics (pages visited, time on site, device type). No personal details.
We don't collect payment details, we don't run ads, and we don't sell your data. Ever.
Why we collect it
- Email addresses — to send you The Murphy Memo newsletter. That's it.
- Submission details — to review and potentially publish your listing on the site, and to contact you if we have questions about it.
- Analytics — to understand how people use the site so we can make it better.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run the site:

- Airtable — stores listing submissions securely. Their privacy policy →
- ZeptoMail — sends transactional emails (submission confirmations). Their privacy policy →

We don't share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter subscribers — until you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Submission details — kept as long as the listing is live on the site. If a listing is removed, associated personal data is deleted within 30 days.
- Analytics data — retained by Google Analytics for 14 months by default.
