## About
Murphy has been using this BullyBillows Double Ended Lead for almost a year now and it's become one of the most-used pieces of kit we own.

It's been dragged through mud, soaked in the rain, wrapped around the occasional tree and subjected to the enthusiasm of a Cavapoo who occasionally forgets he's attached to another human. Through all of that, it's barely missed a beat.

The first thing that's impressed us is how well it's held up.

After months of consistent use, the clips still feel solid, the metal hardware hasn't loosened up and there's none of the wear we've experienced with some cheaper leads. It feels just as dependable now as it did when it first arrived.

🐾 **How We Use It**

Since we’ve been exploring on walks, this has become Murphy's default lead.

For everyday walks around the town, it's usually clipped straight onto his BullyBillows flat collar (despite having absolutely no bully breed credentials whatsoever 🤣🐶).

For general walks and outings, we'll often clip it to the rear attachment point on his harness. It gives him enough freedom to sniff, wander and investigate whatever important dog business needs investigating that day 👃🌿

Where it really earns its place though is when we're using both the front and rear clips on his harness.

Murphy is generally pretty good on lead, but like most dogs he occasionally spots something that causes temporary hearing loss. Usually another dog. Occasionally a duck. Sometimes a smell that apparently requires immediate investigation.

Having two points of contact gives us a little more control without constantly shortening the lead or taking away all his freedom.

Over time we've found ourselves using all three setups regularly:

🐾 Flat collar for everyday walks
🐾 Rear harness clip for relaxed adventures
🐾 Front and rear clips together when we need a little extra guidance

That flexibility means we're rarely swapping leads halfway through an outing.

One thing worth mentioning is that this isn't trying to replace a long line.

For woodland walks, recall training and anywhere we're deliberately giving Murphy maximum freedom, the long line still comes out every time 🐕‍🦺🌳

That's actually where this lead fits best.

It's perfect for the journey to the adventure.

The car park.
The town walk.
The café stop.
The busy section before the fields open up.
The nature reserve where you want freedom, but don't want ten metres of trailing lead behind you.

It bridges the gap between a short everyday lead and a proper long line better than anything else we've used.

For Murphy, that means enough freedom for a proper sniffari.

For us, it means fewer lead swaps and a little more control when excitement levels suddenly exceed decision-making ability 🤣🐾

Would we buy it again?

Absolutely.

It's one of those bits of kit that quietly earns its place because it simply works.

No gimmicks.
No clever features you'll never use.
Just a durable, adaptable lead that's become part of our everyday dog-walking setup.
