POP+BARK are bringing their Cavapoo Café to Solihull on Sunday 9 August — an 80-minute off-lead social session designed specifically for Cavapoos and similar-sized poodle mixes.

The theme is Garden Disco: think floral décor, disco balls, bright summer styling and plenty of photo opportunities. It's pitched as a dog-friendly festival atmosphere rather than just a meet-up, with a focus on creating something memorable.

The session includes access to a Pupuccino Bar (pup cups with toppings and biscuit treats), summer dog toys, bubbles, treats and shopping stalls. After the main event, there's an outdoor terrace and indoor bar area if you want to stick around.

For the humans, there's a summer brunch and lunch menu available, plus cocktails, beer and wine.

Tickets are free for Cavapoos (though you still need to book one), and £10.75 for each adult owner or guest (£9.75 + £1 booking fee). Similar-sized doodle breeds are also welcome.

POP+BARK have been featured on Dragons' Den and Blue Peter, and have hosted over 400,000 guests across their events. They specialise in breed-specific café socials, which seem to create a strong sense of community — everyone's there with the same type of dog, which takes some of the guesswork out of play compatibility.

The event runs from 12:45pm to 2:05pm at Slug & Lettuce in Solihull (B91 3HT).

Worth noting: this is an off-lead session in an indoor venue, so it's likely to be lively, social and potentially overwhelming for dogs who find busy environments or lots of other dogs stressful. If your Cavapoo is nervous around new dogs or prefers quieter settings, this might not be the one.
