Taking place on Saturday 5th September at Newbold Verdon Primary School, this is a proper community dog show — the kind where the competition is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the main event is really just spending an afternoon with your dog and a lot of other people who also think their dog deserves a trophy.

Classes include Prettiest Female, Most Handsome Male, Cutest Puppy, Golden Oldie, Best Child Handler, Best Rescue, and Best in Show. Entry is £1 per dog per class, with rosettes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

This isn't a pedigree championship. It's a Scout fundraiser with a dog raffle, a gala, and the kind of village fête vibe where winning feels nice but entering is really the point.

Dogs must be kept on leads throughout, and the event runs from 12pm–4pm.
