# Leicester Animal Aid Family Fun Afternoon & Doggy Reunion

## About
Leicester Animal Aid is celebrating 70 years with a proper family fun afternoon at Huncote Sports & Social Club — and dogs are absolutely the guests of honour.

There's a full dog show running from 1pm with seven classes covering everything from Golden Oldie (8+) to Waggiest Tail, Best Rescue, and an All Comers round at the end. Entry is £2.50 per dog per class, and every winner gets a trophy and rosette — 2nd and 3rd place get rosettes too. Registration opens at 12pm.

Before the main show kicks off, there's a special Doggy Reunion parade for former Leicester Animal Aid residents. If your dog came from L.A.A., this is their moment — and there are goodies waiting for them too.

There's also a Junior Handler round just before the main show starts, with rosettes for all the kids taking part.

Beyond the show ring, there's have-a-go agility (always worth a go if your dog's up for it), stalls, games, an ice cream van, and refreshments in the clubhouse — cobs, cakes, tea and coffee all available. Full bar too if you're sticking around.

It's £2 for adults to get in, kids and dogs are free, and parking's free too. Friendly dogs welcome — pedigree, crossbreed, small, large, pup, senior, somewhere in between. Doesn't matter.
