# Herbs & Hounds
**Type:** Event | **Location:** Oakedge Park, Wolseley Bridge, ST17 0XS Stafford, East Midlands, England, United Kingdom
## About
The Dog Herbalist and Chase Chew Co are hosting a summer day out that sits somewhere between a dog show, a holistic health fair, and a really nice excuse to spend the day outdoors with your dog.

Ground entry is completely free — you'll only pay if you want to enter your dog into the show itself, which runs throughout the afternoon. Categories include things like happiest wag and most charming smile, so it's fun rather than formal.

The stalls are curated rather than sprawling — artisan vendors focusing on holistic canine health, botanical remedies, premium whole-food treats, and refined rural lifestyle pieces. If you've been meaning to upgrade your dog's wellness routine or just fancy a mooch around high-quality dog gear, this is a nice way to do it without the overwhelm of a huge commercial pet show.

It's explicitly family-friendly — grandparents and kids welcome — and there's plenty of space to spread out. Dogs are the guests of honour but must stay on lead throughout.

If you've been to a big commercial dog event and found it a bit much, this feels like the opposite — smaller, more thoughtful, and genuinely focused on the kind of dog owners who care about what goes into their dog's bowl and onto their skin.

📅 Sunday 9th August
⏰ 10am – 4pm
📍 Oakedge Courtyard, Staffordshire, ST17 0XS
🎟️ Free admission (separate entry fees for Dog Show contestants only)
