🐾 A huge secure field, countryside views and enough space for endless zoomies. If Poppy had to choose her favourite secure dog field, this would be it. 💚

Woodlands Paddock is tucked away near Yoxall and feels like you've escaped into the middle of the countryside. 🌾 It's peaceful, beautifully maintained and gives the dogs loads of space to simply be dogs.

The secure field is enormous, so whether your dog loves chasing a ball, practising their recall or just running flat out for no particular reason, there's more than enough room. While there is agility equipment dotted around the field 🐕‍🦺, mine rarely bother with it – there's just something about this place that makes them want to run, sniff and explore instead. 🐶💨👃

One of my favourite things about the paddock is how relaxing it feels. Sometimes there are sheep in the neighbouring field 🐑 – not close enough to cause any issues, but close enough to make it feel like a proper countryside escape. 

There's a small car park with space for a few cars. 🅿️ As soon as you arrive, you'll find a lovely little hut with two comfy chairs for the humans, a cosy dog bed for tired pups and a treat hut stocked with dog treats and chews. 🍖🐾 The only downside to being surrounded by countryside? 📶 Mobile signal and Wi-Fi can be a little unreliable, so I'd definitely recommend taking some cash if you fancy buying treats from the treat hut, as we've never managed to get the QR code payment to work.

The paddock is open seven days a week from 7am, which is perfect for early risers like us. 🌅🐾 (Although I'm not convinced Rufus always appreciates our enthusiasm for an early start! 😂)

Water, bowls and toys are all provided 💧🎾 (although we always take our own), and there are plenty of places to sit while the dogs burn off their energy, including a picnic bench and three benches around the field. 🪑

The paddock is always clean and well maintained, with bins and poo bags provided, making it really easy to keep it that way for everyone. 🗑️🐾 Before you leave, don't forget to pop into the little hut and sign the guest book – it's a lovely touch and fun to read what other visitors have written. 📖✍️

You can book either 30-minute or 1-hour sessions, and visitors are asked to spend the last five minutes packing away any toys and locking the field back up before leaving. 🔐 This means there's very little chance of crossing over with the next booking, making it an especially brilliant option if you have a nervous or reactive dog. ❤️

Everything has been thoughtfully put together and it's clear the owners genuinely care about creating a fantastic experience for both dogs and their humans. It's one of those places we always look forward to visiting, and it's easy to see why it's become Poppy's favourite secure field. 🐾
