# The Dog Walking Field – Sutton Coldfield
**Type:** Service | **Location:** Sutton Coldfield, East Midlands, England, United Kingdom
## About
We visited The Dog Walking Field (Sutton Coldfield) for the first time last week. It's located just past Middleton Hall and only a few minutes beyond Drayton Manor, making it really easy to get to from Tamworth. 🚗

As it's a brand new field, it's currently offering introductory prices, which is a great excuse to give it a try. The first thing that struck us was the size – it's huge! 🌳 There's loads of room for zoomies, fetch and practising recall, and it's surrounded by a very high, secure fence, so you can relax while your dog enjoys themselves. 🐕💨

At the moment, there isn't a great deal in the way of agility equipment or extra features, but it's still very new and has plenty of potential. Right now, it's all about giving your dog lots of open space to run and play.

The entrance is a little different to most secure fields. The turning off the road only has room for one car at a time, which is why bookings are for 50 minutes rather than an hour. 🚙 It gives everyone enough time to leave before the next visitor arrives, avoiding any awkward encounters on the narrow entrance. Once you're through the gate, though, there's a proper car park with space for several cars. 🅿️

The field itself was clean, tidy and well looked after. 🌿 Because it backs onto open countryside, there's plenty of wildlife around... which brings me to Rufus. 🐶🙈

Apparently, he'd discovered what he considered to be an all-you-can-eat rabbit poo buffet. 💩🐇 While Poppy and Evie were happily running around, Rufus spent much of his visit attempting to sample as much rabbit poo as physically possible, earning himself several spells in air jail. 🚫🐶 Needless to say, his questionable dining choices caught up with him later... and let's just say we all paid the price for his countryside cuisine. 🤢😂

Although this one isn't quite up there with our favourite secure fields just yet, that's mainly because it's still finding its feet. If you're looking for somewhere with lots of equipment or little extras, there are stronger options nearby. But if what you want is a big, secure field where your dog can have a proper run, then this ticks all the important boxes. 🐾💚
