Today did not go to plan…

We headed to Hicks Lodge with full intentions of a walk and coffee stop… only to find the car park completely full 🙃

Plan B = Visit Conkers
Also said "car park full"… but we managed to squeeze in.

Unfortunately, Murphy had already spent too long in the car and arrived fully wired 😅

👂🏼 Selective hearing? Gone — completely deaf today
😅 Constant pulling
🤯 Way too many people for his little brain to handle
🚫 Tried to drink harmful water — worth noting if you visit
🙄 Refused his own clean water (of course)
🐴 Topped it off with a bit of horse poo for good measure 🤦‍♀️😂

When we got to the café, the sign said "well behaved dogs welcome"…and honestly, we knew we weren't ticking that box today 😬

So we bailed. No coffee. No calm walk. Just one of those days. Might have to give it another go — how dog friendly is the café with an energetic pup? 👀🐾

One positive… it turned into great practice on his long line — especially when he's lost his mind 😅🐾

Safe to say… not every walk is a "Walk Edit" 🤣
