## About
We spent around an hour and a half exploring Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Woods, covering just over three miles across a mix of wide gravel paths, woodland trails and open countryside.

The standout feature for us was the meadows.

The grass was so tall in places that Murphy would disappear completely before suddenly popping back into view a few seconds later. One minute we had a dog, the next we had a moving patch of grass. 🌾🐾

There are several different route options throughout the site, with signposts making it easy to tailor your walk depending on how much time and energy you have.

Despite the car park being around half full when we arrived, we only saw a couple of people once we started walking. For most of the route it felt like we had the place almost entirely to ourselves.

The woodland sections offered plenty of shade and sniffing opportunities, while the open meadows provided beautiful views across the surrounding countryside.

There is a large lake on site, although dogs aren't allowed in the water. Murphy found this information deeply disappointing and would like it formally noted in this review. 💦😂

Parking is free with plenty of spaces available, although we only spotted one poo bin near the main car park, so it's worth being prepared if you're heading further out on the trails.

If you're looking for a quieter walk with plenty of space, varied scenery and routes you can return to time and time again, this is well worth a visit.

## Murphy's Verdict

I disagree with this policy.

Still had a great time though."
