The Leicestershire County Show Dog Show returns for 2026 with two full days of friendly competition, novelty classes and activities for dogs of absolutely every persuasion — polished show-offs and lovable scruffs equally welcome 🐾

Running Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August at Foxglove House in Market Harborough, the Fun Show kicks off at 11.30am each day and includes seventeen classes: Waggiest Tail, Most Handsome Dog, Prettiest Bitch, Best Puppy, Best Big Dog (above the owner's knees), Best Small Dog (below the owner's knees), Dog Most Like Their Owner, Best Junior Handler, Scruffiest Dog, Fastest Sit, Best Crossbreed, Best Condition, Best Rescue, Best Veteran, and the grand finale — Dog of the Day.

Alongside the Fun Show, there's Dog Scurry (essentially zoomies with structure) and Agility Experience, where you can have a go at agility obstacles with your own dog.

Entry is on the day — no need to book ahead. £2.50 per class or five entries for £10, so if you're planning to enter Murphy in Waggiest Tail, Scruffiest Dog, Dog Most Like Their Owner, Best Small Dog and Dog of the Day (ambitious but not unreasonable), that's your tenner sorted.
